I played it just recently and it wasn't that different from AC2 if not improved. You cannot seriously expect 10 year old game to have parkour good as modern games. Execution streaks can basically kill everyone and Ezio can fight hundreds of enemies by himself, I hadn't encountered any glitches. It got improved from AC2 by great margin, it set up a base combat system for AC lasting till AC Rogue.
